Emily Knapp is a Graphic Designer at GreyMob. She joined GreyMob staff with hopes of further developing her design skills while working to mobilize and empower students, helping to make their visions a reality.
Emily graduated from Huntington University with a B.S. in Graphic Design. While in college, she developed a passion to use her design skills and spend her time in a way that makes a difference in the lives of others. Her education included a semester at Wesley Institute in Australia, where she gained valuable experience in typography, illustration, and design.
Upon graduation, she accepted an internship with Wheeler Mission Ministries in Indianapolis. There she developed creative work for key fundraising events, including their annual "Camp Out To Stamp Out Homelessness".
More recently, Emily worked for Light Gives Heat. This non-profit organization, based in Grand Junction, Colorado, is committed to empowering artisans of Africa through the encouragement of economic sustainability and creative endeavors. She played an integral role in communicating their vision and raising awareness to supporters, donors, and communities in Uganda and Grand Junction.
Another creative outlet for Emily is music. She loves to sing and play guitar, and enjoys playing with and for others. She also loves the outdoors, traveling, adventure, and spending time with people who motivate and inspire her to be creative and to take risks.
